Elba Island – Marina Riva di Traiano

Arriving in the Marina was nice as we had a long day before with a late start, trying to find a suitable anchorage, and spending 3 hours on replacing the impeller pump. We tied up, registered at the marina office, washed the salt off of Anna and proceeded to the market to buy a few beers and snacks to celebrate the new impeller pump. We drank our beers and relaxed in the calm marina. Although not very hot, we decided to run the air conditioner just to have it working well when we will need it later in the summer.

The 11 hour voyage was ok with a bit of chop but the sun was out which made for a great day on the water. We took turns catching up on lost sleep from the night before but otherwise was a pleasant day.
