Specifications
Anna Sørgaard is a category Class A ocean-going trawler built by Jet Tern Marine – the Selene 49. Her hull number was 48-31 and she is one of the first deep hull built from the Selene 48 mold and thus is designated as a 48 Deep Hull. Since the “Cruiser Sten” added 1′ to the length of the hull, the model was later renamed to Selene 49. She is powered by a single John Deere 6068SFM engine, an oversized prop and runs at 1,300 RPM averaging 6.8 knots.
Anna was originally purchased in 2008 by Mariteam Yachting in Leeuwarden, NL as a show boat representing their Selene line of motor yachts. Anna was then sold to Erika Krovel who lived aboard her for 8 years and cruised most of Scandinavia and the Northern and Western parts of Europe. Erika is a native Norwegian and named the boat “Anna Sørgaard” after the name of her grandfather’s small freighter. You can see her voyages with Anna at @boatingerika. Erika listed the boat for sale to pursue other opportunities and Albert Gerritsma from Mariteam agreed to be the selling agent. We purchased Anna in the fall of 2018 after performing a survey and test run along the Norwegian fjords.
